Texas Historic Ghost Towns
There are many Texas Ghost Towns including one named “Nameless” near Leander Texas and Jonestown Texas. I love Texas History and learning about Texas Ghost Towns. Nameless became known by that name because they were trying to get a good name from the Post Office. The little town kept sending names in to the US Postal Service with a “no” answer. Finally- they jokingly said- well,we will just name our town Nameless so they sent it in. What do you know but the Post Office accepted that name. A funny story but now the only thing left at Nameless is a one room schoolhouse and a cemetery.
